Raffle Winners .......... from Fri 7 August

We had a wonderful time at the Robbie Tribute - hope you did too!

All money has now been received and paid into the bank and a fantastic £1,132.18 was raised. So pleased with this - it's a tremendous amount and hopefully GDS will be adding a community cashback amount to this.

A big thank you to everyone that attended, it was a great atmosphere and very well supported. Thank you to Andy Tee at Abbey Sports & Leisure for letting us have the room and selling tickets for us and to the resident DJ and bar staff for an excellent job! A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Matt for another great peformance - he is a fantastic entertainer and if anyone interested in bookings I can put you in touch with him. (I actually won a prize and normally I have been known to throw it back in for someone else - but I was absolutely thrilled that it was the Black Country Museum Tickets - we have planned to go in September as we are off work that week and it's a special event - they will have the traditional working narrowboats (barges!) there and being boaters this couldn't have been better!)

THANK YOU ALL FOR A PERFECT NIGHT - NOT LONG NOW GUYS UNTIL YOUR CYCLE CHALLENGE - I know you are getting on well with your training (Tony and Pete did just over 50 miles yesterday morning and Frank cycled to Sheffield to see family a couple of weeks ago - there and back twice!) so keep on cycling and we're all behind you and wishing you luck.
